Good morning Ante, you snuckered in there. I am so glad that you got to see your Father yesterday. I bet he was happy to see you both. Such a shame you couldn't stay longer. Enjoy your windy day. I bet Max is looking foward to a walk!

    Morning everyone,
We have sunshine 🌞 too!  Hoping for a few more days like this to dry the grass out. Still too wet to cut at the moment.
@Ante30 so glad you were able to see your Dad. Have a restful Sunday.
    Thank you @Ladybird4
Hope you haven't too many boxes left to pack for handy brothers move.
@debs64 have fun in the garden. Sorry to hear you had some unpleasant customers yesterday.
Hi @Rubee hope you and OH slept well.

Hello all ... another sunny (but cool) morning ... the wind was quite blustery yesterday evening but it's much calmer today.
I had a very good night thank goodness ... I'm so fortunate that I have not a lot to worry me at the moment ... other than the state of the world  and them there others of course ... but immediate family are well and happy (if broke) and brother's treatment appears to be helping by giving him more time and a better quality of life than would otherwise be the case ... so not a lot to give me sleepless nights at the moment 🤞.  My heart goes out to those who regularly see the wee small hours with thoughts churning around in their heads ((hugs))
OH has cycled into the city for an eye test this morning ... he's said he'll tackle the border edges when he gets back   :D
    Have a good day folks.

  • Gmorning all.  Ante it was so good that you could see your father yesterday even for a short while.  Enjoy your baking.  LB enjoy helping handy brother getting sorted.  The right time of year to move, not too hot or too cold.

I hope those going in the garden enjoy their day.  I have a few jobs to do today.  Early morning unclimbed pole in the bathroom and hung up some velvet curtains in ochre which will be warmer and afford more privacy.  Old curtains fitted in new curtains zipper bag so that was handy.  I’ve just had an early lunch and ran some hot water for washing.  Time for some tea.

    Hello all.

Much cooler and rather grey today.

I've been to watch 2 small grandsons play in a tennis tournament. They won their doubles match but lost the individuals. The 6 yr old was very impressive, he hits the ball like an adult, but the courts are shorter for children so the ball went out a few times. He was playing against a 10 year old. I was very proud of him and people came up to congratulate my son on the playing of his son.

    Hello all.
I've enjoyed a sunny morning in the garden, planting up some cheery spring plants where there are gaps in the borders.
We've just got back from a pleasant walk to our favourite pub for light refreshments. I'm now chilling on the sofa whilst OH bakes bread for the week, something he loves to do.
The tennis game sounded a lot of fun, @Busy-Lizzie . No wonder you felt proud!

Good afternoon everyone. I've had a busy day - both at handy brother's and in my patch. I found a pot full of Snakeshead fritillaries I had forgotten I had but I think I will still order more in the Autumn - they are so pretty.
Debs, I am so sorry to hear about the unpleasant customers. There is absolutely no need for that sort of behaviour. You and your colleagues are providing a valuable service for them and they should be thanking you and not being horrible.
Hazel, my car dash was showing 4° C when I drove down to meet the family and the frost alert light was on. It quickly warmed up though and was very pleasant. My sis-in-law tested positive for Covid but she is as right as rain showing no symptoms whatsoever. She probably picked it up whilst doing the grandchildren school run.
Sounds like you have done a good job with the curtains RosieBB.
Busy you must be bursting with pride. Well done to both your grandsons. Sounds like you have two Roger Federers there.
Janet, I'll bet it smells absolutely delicious in your kitchen with all that bread making going on.
