You have to be careful who you buy from on Ebay. There are still a number of people selling seeds of rainbow-coloured roses!

What!!??  You mean they aren't real plants??

My house and car insurances only went up by a few pounds this year so I let them renew. If it had gone up to imnotpayingthat! I would've looked elsewhere.
Sainsbury's have hiked up the prices of one or two things that I usually buy. The prices were extortionate. They've done it so that they can do the nectar points thing on them next week, but I wanted them today😠

It's interesting that it costs less to insure the house and contents than it does to insure the dog. :| My house insurance renewal quote went up by about 45% this year but I've found a couple that compared pretty well to last year luckily.

@wild edges I don't suppose your house is taken ill, eats things it should eat, or injures itself.  On that basis the doggy risk is higher than the house risk, therefore more expensive.

Vets are more expensive than plumbers, roofers, electricians and the costs of their material are sky high too.

When you click on a you tube link posted by a forum member, are the links underneath what the poster has been looking at previously or are they related to what you tube thinks you might be interested in?

Grrr. Drained the oil from a tin of tuna into a discarded container from some soft fruit. Should have checked that it wasn’t one with drainage holes in first.

If you don't have a Youtube/Google account then it either reads your cookies or makes it up based on the current video. The Youtube algorithm for recommended videos is notoriously strange though.

I  thought that might be the case. It seemed a bit of a coincidence that so many were related to stuff I've looked at. You're right. Some of its selections are a bit weird.

I posted two links to the youtubes on Lunarseas post the other day and they still appear to work.
Mind you I had no idea it would post them as links the way they did. I don't know if there is a right way or wrong way to make them stay relevant.

We apparently do not keep cookies so that may make a difference.

But I know there is a packet of digestives in the cupboard, though not for long, now I know we do not keep them :)
