3) Is a non-standard shape (ie anything other than round) and non standard size
The moveable shower head holder on my shower broke at the weekend. It was on an oval riser rail that had fixed point wall fittings - and two screws at each end. What a pain...can't get a replacement head holder - so need a new rail - but - the rails available won't cover both the holes at each end. What a pain.
Forecast for today was mainly sunny with 0% chance of rain so we decided to go for a walk. I checked the forecast again before we went out. About 10 minutes from the house and we started to get very wet sunshine which continued for almost an hour off and on. It stopped for a short time when we got home just to be awkward and is now raining again. Don't ya love British weather and forecasting?

Thanks for that @wild edges - the headset became superfluous as it turned out as when I took the riser off to get the head holder off, one of the supports (of the 4) had come away from the 'pole' anyway - so I would have needed a full set replacement. I bit the bullet as I had a variable position riser (stashed away in the garage - refer declutter thread - some things do come in handy) that I had only re-seen a couple of months ago.
So i used that - one of the superfluous screwholes (I reused two) was in the grout anyway - so easy to fix/hide - just leaving a solitary screw hole that I couldn't hide.
Bit late but LG direct drive washer/drier. Bought 2007 .....still running. Jinx expected shortly. @steveTu We had similar a few years ago but ours almost fitted. A tiny gap in the screw cover bit one end but it holds together. No such thing as standard....
Curmudgeon: Good tree surgeon you trust with both non and TPO trees can't do the work until back of December. What with that and the permissions for works needed. Keep that work for them later.
With reservations used a local, well reviewed, trusted etc to do the other work ( removing big old leylandii hedge, previous owners put in). Needs sorting, I can't keep up with it now, and we could not really put it off any longer.
I can't believe how bad it has been. Gutted. I feel sure our first choice would have taken better care.
I knew it would be hard and kept my expectations low, expected some damage.
And my dear other half spent ages tracking me down a chocolate marzipan Sambucus two years ago. I can't see it. The metal stakes and bamboo teepee I used to protect it are barely showing and crushed. I thought it would be outside the drop zone, cut it back. I spent a few days digging out the more precious plants. And expected some possible damage on peripherals.
Upside, glad we decided to keep the Oaks works for the trusted company.
I know people have bigger problems in the world and some awful things going on world wide.
We consulted solicitors new to us a month ago about updating our Wills. I've had one phone call with her a fortnight ago when she said she had started drafting them but nothing since, not even an acknowledgement/letter of engagement of the original meeting. Left a message today asking her to call back - nothing.
Am I right to think this is not acceptable?
I used to be a professional business woman and I would have been slated if I'd treated any new clients like that. She said she'd have to charge us £250 for the original meeting if we didn't proceed.

Standards, standards, standards....
Our shower is starting to leak, and the variable height fixer (can you call it that) has been cracked for a couple of years. The whole thing probably needs replacing, but since we are moving before the end of the month, and the buyers could see the cracked part, I'm not going to bother to replace it.
