I think there's more than a hint of homophobia about the whole thing.

I haven't read all the facts and I always found him irritating but I am worried for him. If the worst happens, the meeja will wallow in the tragedy  that they will blame it on the rest of the meeja . He is not in the same class but I'm reminded of what happened to George Michael.

I don't care either way about Mr Scofield and his sexuality but if his career is to be destroyed because he lied about an affair between consenting adults I think an awful lot of people with public lives - politicians, businessmen, trade union leaders, broadcasting company mangers, journalists and editors etc - should be quivering in their boots.

Honesty and integrity are rare commodities these days.

Much against my better judgement @pansyface, I agreed to do fish and chips for dinner.  It was good buy thank goodness there are 366 days before the next one.   Gimme unbattered fish and a spicy or herby sauce any day!

I had tinned sardines on toast for lunch. The Lidl ones that come in the spicy tomato sauce. I used seeded bread to make it feel all fancy. o:)  I can't remember when I last had battered fish. I vaguely remember having a mackerel goujon bap on a seaside holiday back in the pre-kids era but that seems like a lifetime ago now.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I really like tinned sardines in olive or sunflower oil … but not the ones in tomato sauce 🤢  … you’re welcome to all of those @wild edges

Have you tried tinned sardines with pasta?  😋

When I’m in charge all schools will have to teach philosophy and social responsibility.

These extremists are really no different, certainly no better, than those who follow extreme interpretations in other religions and societies.
