Glad your heart is in good nick @Obelixx… however I know you’re ahead of us, but is it really Friday already?  😉

No, @Dovefromabove but that's the mood they were all in.  Loads of cars with non local number plates and not knowing where they were going or which lane to be in and sudden swerves for exits thru nose to tail traffic.   Nightmare.

@Obelixx  that sounds like a Thursday evening in Suffolk and Norfolk … the second-homers who live in London take Friday off and on Thursday evenings they head up the A11 and A12 to their cottages on the North Norfolk and Suffolk coasts. The roads heading up here are jammed solid 🙄

Thanks @philippasmith2.  I think the worst part for me will be getting to the hospital for 6:30am.  I'm not really a morning person anymore, having embraced lazy morning coffee in bed since retirement.

Know exactly what you mean about mornings  - they arrive far too early ;)

Good luck with the knee op @Obelixx.

I'm seeing far too many mornings at 6.30 am at the moment and I'm not a morning person at all.

The locals should all go out on Thursday evenings in real tractors and let them know what it's like when they hold everybody up by not being able to drive their Chelsea Tractors properly.

Folk with real tractors are far too busy at this time of year and diesel is too expensive for them to drive up and down the A12 unnecessarily … they’re working from dawn til dusk and sometimes beyond at the moment … so if my brother’s tractors just happen to be hauling loads of peas and potatoes up and down the A12 a 24/7 great deal you can be certain it’s because it’s absolutely necessary 👍 😉
