In truth, it makes me more than curmudgeonly, but I just needed to say it out loud.

I took a photo on the line of my garden fence today. They're done with the decking next door and are ready to lay the plastic grass. The bank at the back will be covered with membrane and bark chipping. I suspect that complaints about my leaves messing up the place will be in my future.

By selling the house and making it someone else's problem I imagine. I can't even get mulch to stay in place for long on mine. The blackbirds find gravity a real help while they're scratching about in there.
