Just had two spots of rain. Huzzah. The dry spell is over. I was going to run outside and dance naked in the rain (stuff scaring the animals), but I was toooooo slow and the rain stopped before I even managed to get one sock orf.
Good grief - what a scary thought eh? I don't think I'd want to know what others get up to in the privacy of their private places. I'm not a pretty sight dressed (even in my negligiggle), let alone with my big belly and skinny legs on show.

my camera only catches me from the waist up, otherwise you'd hear the hysterical giggling all the way from China
Do we all laugh in accents? I'm just trying to imagine what a Chinese giggle would sound like. I tend to do a polite southern snort rather than a hearty northern guffaw.
Not a drop here overnight ... except the beer running down the road (details on Forkers) 😢
Frogs appeared on the terrace last night when we watered the toms and cukes, sitting in the dribbles running out of the bottom of the pots ... so I've given the wilderness area behind the pond a bit of a hose down this morning ... not enough to make much difference to the poor plants, but it'll dampen the logs and dark corners where the frogs and newts spend most of their days.
I had a package delivered by a charming Chinese chap yesterday ... I'd never heard my name pronouced with a Chinese accent before ... it was really rather endearing ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
A neighbour told me there's a hosepipe ban coming into force locally on Thursday. He checked the website and entered our post code, and we're NOT covered by it, Hurrah
