Dove,I have bought several knitting patterns with mistakes
I knitted a chunky cardi on my last house. Think it was King Cole,I wrote to them complained,(also letters and record) never had a reply. I knitted my daughter a cushion with the word Love, 2 colours used together,it said, blah, blah with r side facing. It was WRONG, unpicking it was a nightmare!

Yes!!!  U-turns are in fashion 😉 today it seems … Someone understands about Customer Relations 👍

     “…,

My name is R*** W***** and i am the Operations Manager here at W***  C*******,

We take on board your concerns and as a gesture of goodwill  we will send you out what is needed for you to complete your project,
What happens sometimes is that some balls of yarn can be slightly underweight which in turn will cause you to have not enough to complete your project.
Please be aware however we cannot guarantee the batch colour will be exactly the same as your previous yarn.

I hope you enjoy finishing your project and please share your finished pictures via email as we love to see our customers finished projects….”

    😃

Less than 24 hours later … if only all ‘mistakes’ could be undone this quickly by a U-turn. 😉

They may have been mistakes, actually, but if they were they were definitely someone else's mistakes  B)

    Good result, Dove  :)

It makes me curmudgeonly when people are curmudgeonly about curmudgeons' corner as I'm not allowed to be curmudgeonly because curmudgeoness is the point and they're just getting in with the spirit of their fellow curmudgeons. :|

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
