    I'd say Napoleon.

That's one crazy-looking bug. It looks like it was over-designed by Laurence Llewelyn Bowen. I'm not a fan of animal print myself.

Some bugs deter predators by looking like they taste bad, others by just being in bad taste.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

What on earth is it sitting on? It looks like it's trying to shag some kind of crab-spider-bat-bird.

It's quite an eerie picture on many levels. Well done.

Crane's bill seed head I think.
I've just been checking the flowers for vine weevils and even at 11pm there are bees still feeding.

Maybe it's just me but it seems a little inappropriate for beetles to be cosplaying as Hitler :|

Is it just me or does this bug have a spooky portrait on its back?

    Jesus!

Does anyone have a Ph.D. in pied pupae? Not got a clue what this belongs to but best guess is probably some kind of ichneumon. There's probably a caterpillar bundled up in there being slowly eaten alive :#

Deceased (!) Asian hornet (Vespa velutina) placed on a green & red pepper for better effect (???).

I would imagine an unwelcome visitor @Papi Jo but still good to see a close up shot of one for reference.
