    It's one of the tiger craneflies but I'd need a closer photo of the wing pattern to work out which.

    My lovely Pieris japonica 'Cupido' had died, a victim to the infamous Pieris lacebug. Here's a pic of the 😡😠💢 little bugger captured this morning ... but too late; the damage is done and beyond repair.
    Excuse the poor quality of the photo, taken through the plastic envelope where the lacebug was kept captive before its imminent destruction.
