Hmm I will definitely be asking for a refund of postage if it ends up being 10 plants down to 2, not much of a saving if I pay £4 for the plants and £6 for the postage, I can order from claire austin for those prices
I think it probably is @bcpathome. I'm still getting at least one email a week from them, usually more, with various offers, but l shan't be ordering any more for the forseeable future. I have another order due in May and am interested to see just how much of it is fulfilled.
I recieved an order a week ago. Only one plant removed as not in stock. Plants are much smaller than they used to be though. Some were nothing more than plugs.
I placed an order for delivery in February .Around the 25th l decided just to check that it hadn't been lost in the system and was on its way, so sent an email quoting the order number etc. I got a polite reply stating that if it was due in February, it would arrive in February and sure enough, it turned up that same day
Maybe l expect too much, but l thought they would have a system where they input my order number and reply saying something along the lines of "Yes, it has been despatched. Unfortunately we could not fulfil the whole order but a refund will be paid ASAP". I do think they are victims of their own success in a way.
Update.....my "order" turned up today......one single, very small, plant out of the 16. Refund has been paid but I would have much preferred to have been told in advance if the order could not be filled, so I could cancel the whole thing. I've paid £6 for a £1.99 plant.
Needless to say, as a regular past customer, I won't be ordering for them again!
A few weeks ago I ordered a big load for May delivery - specifically two litre pots. If they have specified the sizes you will receive they have to stick to that. I'm not going to be impressed if only one plant turns up. The idea of pre-ordering is that it helps them to plan ahead, surely.

Edited to add, the recent reviews on Trustpilot tell a similar tale.
