Better using a reliable outlet now- Ballyrobert, Woottens etc. At least you'll get customer service. I wouldn't trust Secret Gardening Club now, especially with the amount of problems people have had, especially in getting refunds for non delivery etc.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I ordered in early April and received 1/4 of the order in early May with a letter saying the rest were cancelled. I never received a refund and they ignored all of my emails so I did a chargeback via my credit card company. I will never use them again.
Well after at least 6 e-mails to Secret Gardening club regarding my order A lady by the name of Sunu has brought me up to date, lots of problems for them she admitted in writing BUT I WILL have my 9 Summer perennials here by the end of June 🤞🏼, just gotta find some space now , I know they can go in a raised bed right at the top of my steep garden next to where our decking is, where we sit at this time of year looking over the other side of the Valley.
I started ordering from them around this time last year. Back then they had way more varieties in the £1.99 plants section, vs now I just had a look, only 20 in stock. Now many 9cm pots are selling for £2.99 or even £3.99, which is probably not so good value any more. It probably still makes sense for those who bought the goodwill pass to pay only half price and get free delivery, but not for me who didn't buy the goodwill pass. Think their overall pricing strategy has changed, but I won't blame them altogether. Given the inflation nowadays, delivery cost for one would be much higher now on the back of fuel price hikes, and not to mention labour costs and labour shortages. Businesses need to survive, and consumers need to shop around...
I was previously a fan, but now Im starting to worry i misplaced my faith: I got an email saying they would refund me, checked the card I paid with, nothing has been refunded, its now 3 weeks later.... i have emailed querying it, not heard anything as yet. A shame, my wife said if something is too good to be true....
I placed an order in January for 46 plants and a further order in February for 12 plants, both for May delivery. I have received nothing and no refund. There are no phone numbers and they do not reply to emails. I don't know how this operation is set up, Gardeners World promote the Secret Garden so I thought it would be reputable but it seems a scam. Gardeners World need to get involved as it is also their good name that is being tarnished. John Walker
Do you mean the Secret Garden part of the Gardeners World website @franche ? That is nothing to do with the Secret Garden Club. I haven't seen GW promoting it.
I thought that Secret Garden and Secret Garden Club were associated. As both names are so similar this seemed a logical conclusion. After my experience I would not consider doing business with them in the future. I just want my money back.
