After much deliberation l have cancelled my order for May delivery, and got a refund almost straight away. I have asked them to look into the refund for the missing plants on my last delivery, but haven't heard back yet (this was on Thursday).
In the meantime l've had three emails with various offers.
When are you off to do your Watchdog report @TheGreenMan ? Next month begins next week 😁

I cancelled my order in the end and got a full refund. Really disappointed as it was the BOGOF offer on 9cm pots of perennials and grasses that ended on 31 January. I ordered 50 plants. I emailed again on Monday and gave them until Friday, they were very apologetic but kept saying they would contact DHL and it should be with me by now. Not happy that they are blaming the courier and didn't offer to re-do the order. I won't be using them again.
I wanted them by this weekend as I was going to a plant finders fair at Arley Hall today. That was also a massive disappointment as the prices were so expensive. Nothing under £4 and many 9cm pots at £6 & £7 (nothing special either). Bigger pots averaged around £9. I know they weren't that expensive at the garden festival there last year.
We called at Marbury Garden Centre on the way home  and the same size plants were £1.99 - £2.50 and got Mum a very nice Erigeron so that was something.
Feels like this post should be on Curmudgeon's😃

@AnniD @TheGreenMan yes better let us know when you’re visiting them so we know who to call if you mysteriously disappear 😆

It is such a shame, I discovered the local GCs all seem to have 1 litre perennials for £5.99 each or 3 for £12 which is essentially 3 for 2, so I’ve bought a few on that deal. Hoping I can persuade my partner to go to the nursery I've been wanting to check out this weekend!

I keep stumbling across cheap plants locally.

A big supermarket currently has lots of perennials 3 for £5 so I snapped up a lot of those.

I'm popping to B&Q a lot more now too as they seem to have great choice and lots of discounted stock.

I get my car next Wednesday so my trip could be soon :D

I think, now that I'm not relying on buses, I may forget about online plants and just go to GCs.

@TheGreenMan woohoo, that’s exciting!! I see many garden centre trips in your future 😆 I still need to go to b&q! Pond is the project this month though, need to be buying pond liner and plants, then I can get some plants to go around the pond once it’s done!

I keep putting off starting the pond cos I know it's gonna be hard work (doing it alone).

Yes!  My first ever car!  It's only taken me 41 years to get one.  I was always one for public transport but the time has come for me to move on.  I don't know if people have got worse or my patience has diminished but I find buses a bind these days.

Still waiting to hear about my partial refund .
I've sent as much detail as l can, the order number, the date it was placed, the date the plants were received, the details of the ones that weren't supplied and finally their internal reference number.
I appreciate that there may only be one person dealing with the admin, but it's very frustrating when the cancellation was dealt with straight away and l have had 2 more emails with offers since the beginning of the week.
If there's no response by the end of the week l think l will open a PayPal dispute, and l really don't want to do that.

I’m going to start this weekend assuming it doesn’t rain, going to be hard work!!

I think you’ve been lucky, I took to cycling places when I was younger rather than take the bus!

Have you emailed them again AnniD? They did mine straight away when I emailed so they may have missed it
