I had a laugh when I looked out the window. Mum roo sheltering junior from the drizzle.
And then junior hearing me on the veranda

We picked a few Medlars the other day.

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Love those photos @Pat E  😊 do you have enough medlars to make jelly?

No Dove. Only 5 left after the birds beat us to the tree. 🙄. I suppose that I should be glad that they at least enjoyed them.

It hasn’t stopped drizzling all day and now it’s heavy enough for even me to hear on it the roof. Usually only Hubby can hear rain on the roof. 😁

  • Oh that’s a shame @Pat E … I love medlar jelly (if I can get it) with Guinea fowl.  If you want to get your washing dry you can hang it on our line 😉  … we’ve got bright sunshine … although it’s still quite frosty.

  • Morning all,

Lovely sunny day here with a little frost, seems to the same for the rest of the week. Makes getting up in the morning so much easier. I might be powerwashing the deck this week-end, possibilty we might need it soon.

Hope you all get a bit of springtime soon. (Sorry @Pat E, you're going the other way aren't you. )

Oh Hosta, not again!   You must be fed up with all the hassles.  I hope Hubby can cope.

Annie B, you're welcome to a game of crazy golf! Kids home last night. Daughter kindly did detour to youngest son with bottled water just in case, rain water for his plants, and some home made food. Stripped their beds,2 big wash loads. Glorious day, not a cloud.

It’s a bit cloudy here this morning, but we’d promised ourselves another walk, so just finishing breakfast at the Donkey Sanctuary again. ( we make our regular contributions to Donkey welfare via spending a fortune in the cafe and buying jams and marmalades in their shop! ) Nice to relax after a busy afternoon emptying the guest bedroom ready for the carpet coming on Thursday. Back a bit tender this morning, so good to have got the bulk of the work done in advance.
Lovely pictures of the kangaroos, @Pat E
What a nuisance with the vehicle, @Hostafan1. Hope you and hubby will cope without each other till you get your transport sorted. Horrid to be reliant on machinery that lets you down.
