    Good morning all.

Watery sun - 0.5°C this morning and still.  Still hopeful for some rain.

@punkdoc   Yes!!!  Rugby weekend - again!  And some Olympics.  Yes, I hope it rains.

@D0rdogne_Damsel    Holidays over!   Guess you'll just have to come home to recuperate!!  I bet Charlie is happy the exams are over.  The school here has deferred them until after the holidays due to outbreaks of Omicron.  How's the pain?

@Nanny Beach   We seem to have the same sort of weather.  Must be due to living on the south coast.

Enjoy your Saturday and stay safe.

Looks like a wonderful break @D0rdogne_Damsel - so glad your neck recovered in time to enjoy it 👍🏻

Off to London Town today.  Meeting littlest Chicklet to shop for her belated birthday present, then bringing her back here this evening for the rest of the weekend.

Yesterday was glorious weather.  Went for a long walk in the sunshine - the hot air balloons  were out 🎈

I took a tub of sudacrem this morning as they'd run out of barrier cream .

Totally unacceptable @Hostafan1, hope you have made a complaint. It seems to me they are unfit for purpose, perhaps your very useful { NOT } MP could help.

@Hostafan1 ... my understanding is that he will be classified as a 'vulnerable adult' ... contact the social work team as a matter of urgency. Also whoever assessed him for Continuing Care.  Grrrr!

There are 15 residents on his Dementia floor, and I think most , if not all, are incontinent.

    Morning all.

That's really bad @Hostafan1. Nobody need be red raw if properly cared for, whether it's pressure sores or from incontinence. Surely someone should have noticed the supplies were running low before they ran out? Are there enough staff to see that people are kept clean and dry and pressure areas treated?

We got up rather late today. When I went down to make coffee to have in bed I pulled open the dining room curtains and there was a big molehill in the middle of the back lawn. Now there are two  OH called in a mole man about a year ago, now it seems they are back.

That is just not on @Hostafan1 they need to be reminded about the danger of incontinence and pressure sores etc.
