Dry here, but only 5C. No wind thankfully, after yesterday’s howling and blustering, the wind that is, not me. Might take ourselves out for a walk. I slept well, but poor OH was awake quite a lot, suffering from doom and gloom, so some fresh air and exercise would be good. I took myself into the garden for an hour on Saturday, and pruned back a load of shrubbery, ready to shred for Wednesdays collection. However, both shoulders and upper arms were excruciatingly painful yesterday. Too much, too soon. Today,I feel as if I’ve just had flu jabs in both arms!

Lovely and sunny today, but a bit chilly.  Sadly I have wasted the morning already so no gardening today.  I'm missing being out there. :(

  • I've earned a halo this morning @didyw ... even if I've not been outdoors ... the bathroom is sparkling  o:)

@Hostafan1   not a look I associate with your OH, but it's always good to try something new from time to time ... and nice to know he's still taking a pride in his appearance  B)

  • Yay!  Having just had that huge birthday, I realised I'm eligible for a Shingles jab so I went onto our GP Practice online site on Saturday and sent an email to the receptionists asking if it was possibe to book one ..... I've just had an email back with an appointment for the 17th Feb.  Great system.  :D

Good very late in the day afternoon everyone.

Busy morning - made a dish for my nursing neighbours - just have to heat up tonight.  They will be well pleased.  They are both tired and emotional.

Blustery wind - some sunny spells and lots of puffy clouds.

No gardening, but tidying up bits of paper lying around, entering stuff into the computer.

Walkies now and then some tea.

    Have an enjoyable evening.

@Hostafan1 what fun for hubby! Sounds like the home are doing a good job in keeping him amused as well as well fed. What a comfort for you.
Took OH down to the seaside for a walk, and now finishing a late lunch. Got to gather up the bins and recycling to go out this evening. Might try a little gardening too, if my shoulders are up to it. Lovely to see the first of the camellias in bloom, lots of snowdrops and a single primrose in the lawn.

I've done my Covid Day 2 travel test, negative.

We went to Morrisons then had a light lunch, a starter, in a local pub which had closed and re-opened recently having been given a makeover.

There has been a very nippy wind, not much in the way of warmth from the sun.

I've ordered a mattress topper from Dunelm. The Ikea mattress here is so hard after my French foam mattress.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
