@AuntyRach, I used to take my old gardening mags into the Surgery or the RUH but of course you are not allowed to do that anymore. Otherwise I either put them on Freecycle or at the end of the drive for people to take away (if it's dry!).

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Goodness me we both had vivid dreams … I was trying to get @WonkyWomble and her brother to primary school, while OH says that his granny had taken control of our car while I was paying for petrol, and he was struggling to control things while she was playing dodgems at the service station!!!  I hope we have a quieter day ahead 😊

    Morning all.

That horrid cockerel is still here, crowing away at 6am. Where is the fox when you want him?  :#  The cockerel roosts in a tree that overhangs our garden at the back, very near the guest bedroom.

  • Morning @Busy-Lizzie … you’d better start soaking some wheat in whisky …, when he’s had enough he won’t be able to fly up there, let alone cling on to the branch. 😉

Morning all. No wind at the moment and dry. A fabulous sunrise too. Hard frost but can put up with that.

    Hi all
rain has stopped and a lovely heavy frost. My grey wagtails have returned to the pond, a sure sign that spring is coming.
Need to go and buy some compost today, braving the unmasked hoards at the g/c.

Love Grey wagtails @punkdoc ... we saw one here, just the one day ... rummaging in the undergrowth around the pond ...
