A quick good morning to all. I've just put out a milk bottle and it's quite mild out. The wind is high and the rain stops and starts. No snow, no ice makes me a happy bunny. I'm glad your cold is almost gone @Ladybird4 and Bruno is eating- that's half the battle. Safe journey @Busy-Lizzie and anyone out and about.
Morning Janet. Its mild here too at 10°C but it still looks very wet on the roads so I doubt there will be any chance of getting into the garden. I spent some time yesterday looking at bog plants that will be happy in my garden. I haven't made any decisions as yet. Waiting for a suitable time for planting.

The wind is howling gently around the back of the house. Apparently, we have at least a 94% chance of rain for every hour between 0700-1700 today. Plus winds over 40 mph from 1pm. Glad we got through all the storms
Good morning everyone .I am so relieved that we can still use the boiler while are waiting for the new parts .Ante enjoy your easy day .Good morning Janet ,another early bird .LB are you visiting today ? BLad the wind can be very disturbing .We still have snow here .It’s been a very cold night . Rosie the crumpets sound delicious.
Hi-de-hi campers. Fairly early start and a break from the paintbrush and roller today. We're having a day out. A visit to - ta-dah - drum roll - a sewage works!!!
Well - ok - slightly more glamorous - the Victorian pumping station at Crossness near Greenwich. Lots of lovely Victorian architecture, tiling, steam engines and general engineering. But it's still a working sewage plant. Have been wanting to go for a while - and now we are.
Will keep you updated... Stay safe, well and warm. Safe journey to all on the move.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Good Morning everyone, LB Hope you slept well, exciting planning some new plants for the garden, do you have any favourites on the list so far?
Safe journey home to Norfolk Busy & OH, a warm home awaits,
Bluebells Your crumpets sound delicious hot & buttery yum! never tried them with peanut butter 😋
Ante Have a nice easy day assembling your new furniture, sounds like a good day to be indoors,
Janet I’m glad the snow & ice have gone, a big relief for you,
Rubee I’m glad Bruno is feeling better, nice to see him eating & playing, Biglad Hope the winds don’t cause any damage to your garden, has all the tree removal work been completed now? Topbird Have a lovely time at the Victorian pumping station, a welcome break from kitchen painting 😊 SGL Your youngest son had a shock finding the fence panel in their garden, hope it didn’t damage anything on it’s arrival, Hazel Some nice purchases for your home, lovely to add those finishing touches to your room, Breezy here too today, already seen a pot has blown over in the garden.
Morning Ruby and T'Bird. Ruby, I am not going visiting today as, though my cold is almost gone, I don't feel quite up to the drive on the M6 with this the awful weather.
T'Bird, that sounds great! I remember taking a group of my Year 11 pupils to visit a waste water treatment plant. It was nowhere near as posh as yours - just a bog standard one - excuse the word play! It was absolutely fascinating, helped by the fact that the gentleman who conducted us round was a good and knowledgeable speaker - didn't talk above the pupils heads. I definitely got more from that visit than the children. All they remembered was the smell, which I do have to say was not as awful as I thought it might be.
