  • Hazel I love your pebble, as Lily and LB have said two stylish for outside, well done.  Ante have a restful evening you need it.  Enjoy Poirot tonight.  Rubee I hope you can keep warm.  I remember one Christmas the boiler not working at all.  LB I also like Snoopy pics.  Chive hope you and mum keeping warm. Goodnight LB and all to follow.
  • @Songbird-1 your purchases from our favourite shop sound lovely. Really do think you should keep that pebble for your new table or shelf.
@Chivetalking our favourite shop is certainly lovely to browse round 😉  So glad everything was ok in your mum's garden.
@Ante30 hope you got everything you wanted......well except the paint 😉 Have a restful evening.
@janetfoss I love the snow, but don't like it when it gets icy either.
@Rubee glad to hear an engineer has been to partly fix things till the parts arrive. Hope things get fully repaired soon  keep warm.
@Ladybird4 hope you feel better soon.

My youngest son found a fence panel in his back garden.....its not his or the neighbours either side. Goodness knows where it came from, but do think they were lucky that nobody was in the garden when it came flying in their garden.

P.S. @Songbird-1 hope you manage to repair your fence.

Sorry if I've forgotten anyone. Will say night night to you all. Sleep well and sweet dreams.
We are forecast more winds too!!😣

I like your pebble too, Hazel.

We are going home to Norfolk after breakfast. We have enjoyed our stay, but I'm glad I packed my fleece.

  • Good morning all.   I’ve just had some tea with crumpets.  It’s been a blustery old night.  I hope all are okay.

Good morning Rosie and all to follow.

Rosie, I hope that you slept well. I have my tea right now.

Due to early bedtime yesterday, I was awake early. Very cold morning and it's raining. My cottage is again under snow. Today will be easy day, I'll assemble two dressers, have some seeds to sow and just rest.

    Have a nice Sunday.

Ante, is your cottage higher up than your house? I am guessing it might be after you talk of having rain and the cottage having snow. I hope assembling the dressers goes well.
RosieBB, its been a while since I had any crumpets. They will be going on the list! .
Busy, safe journey back to Norfolk today. I bet you can't wait to thaw out but it must have been nice seeing your friends again.

    Good morning LB.

LB, my house is in town near sea. Only 100 my from coast. Cottage is up in the hills, approximately 500 m above sea level. Winter is always harsher up there.

Enjoy your tea. How is your cold?
