That's beautiful @Uff. You mentioned Mull in another post - were you up there at the same time as my sister? I think they were just a bit disappointed with their accommodation, a bit too, too remote, even for them! They were gutted not to see any seals or sea eagles either. They did say it was a beautiful area though.
I was up there in Sept again Lizzie27. Where on Mull did she stay, I know the island very well? I usually try to stay in the centre of the island so it's easier for getting around.
@Uff, No, I think it was even further up the coast, about ten miles away from the ferry. Single track road which ended in the hamlet, something with a 'L' from memory (sorry, can't reach the map at the moment.
We've just returned from a week not far from there, @Uff@Lizzie27, at the end of our nearly 3-week visit to the UK. Spent most of the week doing maintenance on the cottage (which belongs to our son), so it didn't matter that it rained most of the time. We had a rainbow too:
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
And on the day before we left, the sun came out. My family have instructions to scatter my ashes on this hill when the time comes. It's my favourite view on earth, I think.

And another RTBC: after a rather fraught drive through very heavy rain on Sunday, from Larne to here, I cleared up the post, and hid the letter from the tax man until the following morning. No need to tackle new problems straight away, I thought. But the tax man was giving hubby a cheque for £716 in over-payment.
