I’m looking forward to seeing the outcome of the Djokovic case.
Money  talks,  it’s always been so.  Australia are much tougher and harder than Britain, but whether it will work in this case......  there’s lots of big money riding on this one.
It will look a bit unfair if some people can’t go to a cafe and buy a coffee but he can jet set around the world.

I road tested the NT knee pads,  and like the others I had, they were too big.

The bottom band is ok but the top one wrapped around so there wasn’t enough Velcro to meet,  ok for people with fatter legs though.
I’ve  got some very large press studs somewhere so I’ll sow those on.
These things should come in different sizes,  small medium and large.

They were good though in that you just crawl over the soil and no bother of having to move a pad.

@pansyface   I thought they had COVID under control,  my cousin's in Perth,  she says they’re very strict on the rules.

If anything is ever done about the burning of fossil fuels Australia could suffer ever more economically,  isn’t it their biggest industry?

You could shorten the bit of velcro that's too long - or have I got the wrong end of the stick @Lyn?
Sorry - I've just realised after looking at the pic again - the velcro's set into the fabric. I thought it was just a length of velcro like my knee supports. Slightly more tricky to amend as it's bulky.

I'm not mentioning Djokovic other than to say Jamie Murray was very diplomatic yesterday, and he's an arrogant little so and so. No wonder people are hacked off about him. It's common knowledge he's anti vaccine.  :|

This is the problem,  they wrap around so far that the Velcro overlaps so only a tiny bit linking up.

That's a bit disappointing @Lyn. Maybe when the design students come looking for ideas again, we could ask them to have a go at sorting it.
I suppose an elastic stocking effort would stop the circulation. What about leggings with a pocket at the knee into which you could slot a suitably shaped  pad?

Yes - the strap with the fuzzy bit of velcro needs shortened. That's what I realised in my edit - it's harder because it's a padded strap and not just a length of velcro on it's own.
Definitely different sizes needed for that type of item.

You can buy work trousers with knee pockets for pads - I have a pair, woman's size & shape, bought many years ago from the Greenmarket in Newcastle upon Tyne.  A friend worked in a factory making mouse mats and gave me a couple of rejects with slight faults, which I cut down to fit the pockets.  They're good except the legs are quite wide, so sometimes if you shuffle sideways you can shuffle off the knee pad...

I can't wear knee pads which fasten up behind the knee because the straps make those stringy bits at the back of your knee (can you tell I'm not a medic??) hurt too much.

    Don't worry @Liriodendron, that's what I call them too. :)

" those stringy bits at the back of your knee (can you tell I'm not a medic??) "

    @Liriodendron  :D

The other advantage of my knee supports is that it's the jaggy bit of velcro that wraps round, and it catches on the fabric they're made from anyway. Saves any cutting and sealing of the strap, although they come in different sizes as well due to necessity.

Maybe we should design our own.
This time next year, we could be millionaires.....
