    I saw a little egret this morning. Not very common " in these parts "

    I've just received a letter from a bank (genuine UK bank) apologising for not doing their job properly when my brother dies back in 2012.  It seems they missed one of his accounts and will be releasing the funds to me shortly as I was the executor - and sole beneficiary.  The interest rate they have to pay as compensation in such cases is 8% which means the original amount will more than have doubled.  Who says you can't make money by leaving cash in the bank? :D
