It's a heady 10 degrees here still, but a biting wind all day has made it feel bitter cold. As for RTBC, at least it hasn't rained.

It got up to 13.5 on the thermometer this afternoon but the wind felt a lot colder than that. Brrrr.

We have  been watching the antics of the woodpeckers,  this afternoon.  Normally only see one at a time but after frequent single visits all morning,  two came together this afternoon.  One on the fat feeder the other on the seeds, then back and forth into the Apple tree, and all around my greenhouse.  Lovely treat to watch from the windows.
The only drawback is l've had to order more fat blocks. They have got through a whole one today.

I'm sitting in my kitchen window on an ottoman with a coffee and 2 meters away outside a team of 6 sparrows are clearing green aphids from my climbing rose....I could watch them all day!!
