That’s kind of you @Allotment Boy  😊    but I have a load of Uchiki Kuri and Honeybear seeds ready and waiting .., and only a small veg patch … the lawn keeps getting smaller, but OH will notice if it gets too small … 🤫

Hello all, my, you all have been chatty today - 51 posts already!

We had another frost this morning which turned to rain by noon, just in time to scupper my plans for more leaf clearing. I had been planning on a quick visit to a big SM to see what they had on sale whilst OH was seeing his physio and then perhaps going to a nearby GC for lunch and a look at their sale. None of that happened as I'd forgotten about our SM delivery scheduled around the same time - blast, feel quite deprived, I want to go shopping! Maybe tomorrow.

Did my usual walk earlier and then the housework so the house is looking quite sparkly.
I have plans to try a new dish tonight, using leftover turkey, smoked bacon and leeks in a white sauce topped with mashed potato. and then oven baked. I'd tried it a week or so ago in a ready-meal substitution and decided I quite liked it.

Had a bit of good luck today with a small Premium Bond win again, it's quite nice being given 'free' money. I reinvest each time so feel cheered that my savings are growing slowly.

Snowing heavily now, rather pretty, but as the ground is still frozen, rather treacherous.

Turns out cleaning bird feeders is hard.
Got a meeting at the local community centre this evening - timed for just after the rain arrives.  It's only a 10 min walk away so current dilemma is - walk uphill in the rain with brolly or take the car and risk someone nicking my parking space whilst I'm out?

@didyw, that might depend on a) how windy it will be, b) how hard it rains and c) how many other parking spaces there will be left near you?

@Lizzie27 - so many variables!  Other factors - how late do I leave it before deciding to leave and how lazy do I feel!  Oh - and how many others will take their cars resulting in having to park on the muddy bit?

@didyw perfect example of use of my life code
    Low expectations,  avoids disappointment.
Someone will knick your parking space.  Walk but go prepared for the weather! Hopefully Someone will offer you a lift when the see you! 😉
I've sown 2 trays of sweetpeas and 2 types of snapdragon now happy on my bathroom windowsill as although cleared,  I can't be sure that the greenhouse is free from snails and slugs.
Cod filets with spinach and roasted new potatoes in rosemary and olive oil all need to be cooked after a quick warming bath.  Just warming the house to a tempting temperature to take my long John's off!!!
    Have a good evening folks

Thanks @WonkyWomble - walking it is!

Just googled Black Truffle crisps after they were mentioned on Pointless.  Mmm, sound nice.  Might need to order a W'rose delivery...

Been there and done that 😂  … and then ran a smallholding for quite a while …. they took up all the time that I should have been making art 🎨
