Thank you for starting us off in 2022 @Dovefromabove.

Happy New Year to all Forkers. I hope 2022 does a software upgrade and we have plenty of improvements.

Thank you for being here so we can share, celebrate, moan and chat. Hugs all round #teamforkers.

Happy New Year to you all ❤️  I can see blue sky, which is a great start to 2022.

We are heading down to the coast for a bit, for a walk along the beach (tides out, so lots of room) and to catch the first sunset of the year.  Sausages sizzling for butties before we go.

Its lovely to see new posters on here - a big welcome to @AnnaB @Jacquimcmahon @janetfoss.  And to all those who read, but don’t post yet ……give it a go 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.

And lovely lovely lovely to have you back @Liriodendron.  Did I mention that I got a Liriodendron tulipifera for Christmas 🤣🤣🤣.  Mr C is a bit worried that it might be 10 years before it flowers, but I love its leaves so much that I don’t care 🤷🏼‍♀️

Lovely dinner last night, the aged short rib of Dexter beef was fab.

Not sure this is the place for controversy, and I am probably in a minority of one, but I am pleased that Tony Blair got his honour [ thanks Queenie ]

Mine is still growing strongly, Liri. I think of you whenever I walk past it.  😁

I must admit to a bit of a smile too @pdoc ... even if it's just one in the eye for Boris 'cos it's been given by HM and not one of the ones recommended by Boris.

I was pleased about TB too.  And Joanna Lumley did a great deal for the Ghurkas.  Living within striking distance of Aldershot we see that first hand.

  • Happy New 2022 all ( and welcome @AnnaB ) - was sunny this morning but has clouded over - glad decided to go for a walk while sun was out!
