    Good morning all.

The burnt marmalade tastes fine, had some on toast for breakfast. It's darker in colour than my usual though. The burnt part is stuck to the bottom of the pan.

More log stacking this afternoon and hemming the new sitting room curtains. I haven't made them as they are long ones for the French windows, but they are too long. Pale grey velvet.

It's grey outside but no frost.

Thinking, thinking. 🙄. She’s pretty thick skinned. She’d think it didn’t apply to her.  The other thing is that she has now retired from her long held job as a cave guide in the snowy mountains. Grrr.

I was thinking about you last night Obelixx after reading about the cold weather. How are the girls handling the weather?  Are they sprouting more luxurious feathers?

    Good morning everyone!

Yes, @punkdoc I agree entirely on most of the  10 points.  5 & 7 coming in loud and clear!!  N° 9 - couldn't give a continental about wrinkles -  I have too many to count!

Windy again!!  Windy windy and cold to boot.  But sunny.  Can't complain.

Tooth still wiggling, sore  and bothersome to eat but no real toothache.  I did sleep with the pillow raised as I find lying flat aggravates all ailments during the night.  I hope you are feeling better @Dovefromabove   I had that when I went to spend Christmas at my brother's in Switzerland a few years ago - couldn't enjoy anything on Christmas Eve or  Day (except wine) and it was so bad I was in Casualty on the 26th with a good dose of septic ear and throat.  200 euros later I emerged with the medication!!  So @D0rdogne_Damsel  I sympathise with you but if it has gone to the other side now - see if you can get some help.  Even if you aren't well on the ski holiday - the change will do you a world of good and Charlie has his chum there.  Keep in the warm.

@Pat E  Who is this mysterious visitor, Regina?

Have an enjoyable Sunday, readers, sewers, surfers (internet) and of course, gardeners.

That is great news @Hostafan1. Is Hubby no longer bedridden? It all sounded so bad before Christmas.

He goes into the day room one and off all day and asks for food . Bless'im.
It certainly makes saying " goodbye " easier every day when he appears so content.
