We watched Monty as well I thought this episode was better than the first. The one in Venice had too much of him cruising up and down the grand canal for our liking. They are still a bit like travel logs. I would like to see more of the actual gardens.
That's good news about your phone Hostafan. I saw a croc in the cloud too Pat.
Had a good long trot through woodland this afternoon and then a walk up a hill to see the sculpture that I wanted to see. Will go back on a clear day, hopefully at sunset, and get some beautiful photographs. Wee Uff enjoyed the woodland walk but could see the sculpture as the field had sheep in it.
Evening all, slightly warmer today but cloudier. Met friends from the car club at a pub about 20 odd miles away for a very enjoyable lunch and chat. Now just wondering what to have for supper if OH wants some. I'm sorry your cold is so miserable DD, do hope you pick up soon. At least you'll have got it out of the way before your holiday. Those are beautiful picture @chicky and @Pat E. It's fun looking at the cloud pics and seeing what they resemble. No working loos are a big nuisance @Busy-Lizzie. I suppose you can't decamp to one of your children in case the plumber turns up. Do they have Dyna-rod or anything like it in France? Glad you enjoyed your walk @Uff.
Been cold again today but had a coffee in sister’s garden and we did a jigsaw swap. I think I’ve become officially obsessed with having a jigsaw on the go at all times! Sis found me some white wine vinegar too (I’d been looking for ages) - she goes to a ‘fill your own’ food and household outlet place.
Hope all is well in the world with you folks. Enjoy the weekend.
Isn’t it amazing how we see different things in the clouds. I didn’t see the croc until both of you pointed it out.
We are in for interesting times along the east coast because they’re predicting a tsunami resulting from a volcanic eruption near Fiji. Norfolk Is, Lord Howe Is and nearby islands in line for it. Not good for anyone on that side of Oz.🥺
ive decided to get my washing done while it’s sunny. I’ve no idea if the day will continue in the same way. Predictions are for showers, but I’ve given up trying to work around the predictions.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
