  • Loving the cloud images. It's like the 3D vision pics, where, if you squint at it for long enough, the picture suddenly springs out at you.
@Busy-Lizzie the doctor situation is quite dire, isn't it? I quite often see our old doc (not that old and nicknamed Doctor Death) in Aldi and he always scuttles past. He was not a people person.

Sunny but cold here with frost still lying in the shady places.  OH and I are off on an excursion to a nursery to pick up my Xmas prezzies.  150km round trip so we'll do the weekly SM raid on the way home and save 50km tomorrow.

Hope you can cheer up your Possum @Busy-Lizzie and find a GP soon.  Mine is due to retire so I need a new one too.

@Busy-Lizzie and @Obelixx   Same medical situation down here - dire lack of GPs, also specialists are not being replaced either.  Mine retired a couple of years ago and wasn't replaced.  But this is in a medical centre so the 2 remaining doctors are taking the load.  Many existing GPs are not taking on new patients.

Anyone having trouble with Wordle today?  I have had three good letters since 2nd try - 2 in the wrong place and one in the right place, but just cannot get my head around it.  Meanwhile, many slips of paper later.......  No spoilers please - just wanted to know if anyone was finding today's one hard.

@tui34 - had big problems with wordle today …..failed completely, only to discover it was an American spelling 🤬.  I fear the twittersphere will erupt 😳

@chicky - I thought so!  I have 2 suggestions in mind.  So will submit those.  How rude!!  Thank you for solving that problem.    Gotta laugh, I suppose.  Have a good day!

I managed to wordle in 3 but only because I was forewarned about US spelling

  • Hi all. Just in for a browse as I’m sitting in hospital waiting for hubby to come pick me up. I finally got a air valve fitted in my ear this morning. Woke up from the anesthetic and was immediately amazed how I could hear sounds coming from my right hand side. So weird after almost a year of only hearing muffled sounds on that side.

finally a bit of blue sky peeping around the clouds here in Paris, it’s still mild for the time of year but has been really miserable with constant rain for the last couple of weeks. Of course wet mild weather has tricked everything into growing too early again. Looks like another season where we will loose the fruit harvest if we do get colder weather.

off to nose around the site. Catch you all later.

    Morning all,

Bit dank and dreary here this morning. The starlings and blackbirds clearly found the dining conditions on the back lawn agreeable though. Loads of them getting a good feed in :)

Glorious sunny day here. 3rd load of washing in the machine, whilst the first 2 are drying nicely in the conservatory
