  • LB yes Alfie snuggles up when I’m wearing my heated cape.  It’s surprisingly warm and spot cleans well.  Hazel it’s a plug in cape with temps 1 to 6 and it gets very cosy.  It has press studs and can be washed.  It’s a thick fleece fabric which has a darker lining which is edged on the face.  I can recommend.   Chive I hope your bil enjoyed the belated celebrations.  Big lad I hope your running around a field duties went well.  Ps shame about the muddy conditions.  I hope you warmed up at home.  LB a lucky purchase at the sm.  I hope you enjoy your new duvet.Ante I had quite a long afternoon sleep too.  Good news Rose can relax now. Busy I hope your daughter will be feeling better in a few days.  Lily I’m glad you enjoyed your day with eldest son what a nice surprise.  I’ve had a cup of tea and Alfie is lounging on the bed.   I hope you slept.

Hello RosieBB and all to follow. The cape sounds ideal for winter times and probably when you feel unwell and just need the comfort of something warm round you.
SGL, what a magical surprise for you and your OH yesterday. I bet you had lots of fun and cuddles.

Good morning Rosie, LB and all to follow.

Rosie, I also was awake very early. It's because the last afternoon sleep, I usually never have one.

SGL, it was so nice surprise to you and OH. I'm pleased that you had a lovely time with your poppets.

I have my tea, and heating was turn on very early this morning. Lovely, calm morning but -1℃. I want to sow some lettuce for inside growing, and later go to cottage.

Good morning Ante. That is a very low temperature where you are. It is 5°C here. I have never really thought about growing lettuce indoors. Do you mean all the time or are you just starting them off inside?

@Rubee hope you and OH are well. When does he have to go for his next injections?
Just looked out the window and there's no frost this morning. Must see if I can get down the garden later and see if the snowdrops are peeking through. Primroses at the front are full of flower.
Need another cup of tea, I'll get one for you all too. ☕☕☕☕☕☕

Hello all … picturing @Biglad’s mud bath yesterday … mind your knees!😨
We got lots done in the studio yesterday, (and I had a haircut), and have stuff to carry on with today so just a quick skimread back … you’ve all been busy. Hope the cockerels are far enough away to blend with other rural sounds rather than dominate @Busy-Lizzie  … I must say I love to hear them, but of course it does all depend what you’re used to.
Its milder here today … and very still …
… but things to do, potatoes to peel … have a lovely day all … 😊

The graphics on the Beeb promoting the Winter Olympics are absolutely brilliant. Saw them for the first time last night and now I've just seen them again. There are some very clever people out there.
Just heard that my niece-in-law to be, in Oz, who has been attached to a MOHU (Marine Operations Help Unit) is off to Tonga on a humanitarian mission.
