Sorry about MIL @punkdoc.ย  Maybe now shell be a bit more amenable to sheltered accommodation or a home?ย ย

It is very squelchy here now but, as we drove home from dance class, the skies were clear and the stars were shining brightly with just a sliver of almost new moon.ย  However the wind is still lively and tomorrow is set to be more heavy rain and more squelch.ย  Nowhere near as cold at the mo thank goodness. I rather think the coast is getting a battering.

Fingers crossed for a quiet night for us all.

    Morning all ๐Ÿ˜€

Sorry to hear about MiL @punkdoc - hope she is not too uncomfortable and that Moira and family work out the next steps harmoniously ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

Got the results of my October exams last night โ€ฆโ€ฆall ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป. ย Just a few more weeks of my Practical course to go and I will be the proud bearer of a Diploma in Horticulture ๐Ÿ˜‡.

Volunteering today - think it will be soggy underfoot, but hopefully no raindrops falling from the sky.

Heading up to London tonight to see the lightsโœจโœจ. ย Think we will swallow the congestion charge and go on a driving tour ๐Ÿš—

Hope all have had a restful night. The wind doesnโ€™t seem too bad here at the moment although it sounds a bit blustery out there, ย but apparently we can expect stronger winds later this morning.ย
Stay safe all of you ๐Ÿค—ย

    Hi all

Filthy weather here, stream is a raging torrent and the rain is battering against the windows, might stay in bed.
Cannot find out what the plan is for MIL, so donโ€™t know whether we will be going up tomorrow.

  • Stay safe @punkdoc ((hugs)) ... two, or even three folk in hospital wouldn't be an improvement in the situation ... just make sure the social workers know where she is and what has happened, and that the hospital know that it is not safe to discharge her home, and pull strings and drop names if you have to.ย ย

  • Congratulations @chicky ... not that we expected any less ... but it's a great achievement ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿ†๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฅ‚

Good morning.ย  A noisy wet and blustery night from the small hours on but we're having a brief calm spell now with a bit of sunshine before it all starts again.ย  No gardening today then.

Best to hang on and wait for news @punkdoc before committing to a long journey and finding you can't help when you get there.ย  I hope she's OK and accepting care and advice.

    Well done @chicky.ย  Have a star ***.

Sewing for me today after I've started off some kimchi and practised a line dance I'm teaching tonight.

    Have a good day all.
