Strange coincidence, a friend rang for a chat this morning, mentioned that her hubby was cooking lunch. They were having faggots too!ย

It's alright folks,I'm moving in to number 10,but only if I can have the Same company as the Rooney's to put up my Christmas decorations for ยฃ10k

Yes, Nanny Beach. It has a ceramic bowl that sits inside the outer cooker that warms up. I reckon itโ€™s too small anyway, Iโ€™ll have to make it in the oven. The good news is that I got it out of the cupboard this morning to check it, and decided to put on a rice pudding while it plenty of time to cook. OHโ€™s favourite, he was very pleased.ย

I hope Mr @Obelixx is having a happy birthdayย

I'm back in my own home. Daughter and I went to Ikea in Bordeaux to buy lamps, good choice and good prices.

    My Covid booster is tomorrow.

Have a restful day after your jab @Busy-Lizzie.

Just heard MIL is now in hospital after falling, so that may alter our plans. Moira's brothers and sisters are all doing a Zoom call tonight to work out the next steps.

  • Evening all,

Struggling to keep up with all your goings on, but glad to hear @Busy-Lizzie 's daughter is coping as is @Hostafan1 ( so brave and positive). @punkdoc bad news about MIL's fall, getting old is no fun.ย

Feeling an urge to make rice pudding now @Ergates and @Nanny Beach. I'm not mentioning faggots....

48 Mince pies made today, 4 Christmas Puddings, (total 28 now) a lady rang to order a Christmas Cake, I asked 15 cms or 23cms, she said 8 cms, and some twiglets, custard powder, baking powder and stuffing.... I think she thinks I am Tesco.com...

Wet and misty weather here, did manage a nice snap of our church from the terrace this morning (ignore the scaffolding, it will be great when finished).ย

    Wishing you all well.ย

    Evening.

Sorry to hear thatโ€™s happened to MIL Punkdoc.

Very blustery out. I bought myself a hooded fleecy blanket with the idea to have as a Crimbo present from my Dad but I tried it on and, quite frankly, itโ€™s not going to be wrapped because itโ€™s being worn. Very cosy indeed. Just the ticket on a night like this.ย

Take care all, particularly those having โ€˜the weatherโ€™.ย
My garden and I live in South Wales.ย
  • Oh dear @punkdoc โ€ฆ sorry to hear MILโ€™s taken a tumble โ€ฆ hope sheโ€™s sorted out quickly and not too shocked by the experience. Our thoughts are with you all โ€ฆ difficult times ๐Ÿค—ย
