    Evening all.
Debs, I hope that you have had a super afternoon tea with your friends.
T'Bird, a bit of a bum result for Lewis Hamilton. I do not understand the finer points of safety cars and lapped cars but I've heard that there is a protest going on.
Chive it is so nice to see you back after your very sad time and nice to hear that your Mum is making such good progress. Hopefully the happy little people at school will bring a lot of smiles to your face this week.
Hazel, I trust you had a successful day at the GC but I'm not really sure as to what a portable bird house is. 🤔
Busy, fingers crossed that the angiography has gone well today. It sounds as though you had a pleasant carol service and the pew swags went down very well.
Dove, I hope we don't find vids of your 'supervised shower' on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook! Sounds decidedly dodgy!

    Good evening to all.

Chive, nice that you are back. I'm so glad that your Mum is much better and that she was out of house. My dad is also much better, thanks for asking.

It was gorgeous day and I was outside almost till now. I installed some of the lights, and I spent more time in front garden. I planted my misplaced tulips and clean all what wind brought last week. It was so pleasant to be out on the sun.
Now is time to think about dinner.

Hello Ante. Its good to hear that your Dad is making progress too and you have had SUN! Were the tulips the ones you found the other day? When I drove home I went through a patch of thick fog on the M6. I thought, at first, that there was a fire and that the murky gray blanket was the smoke until I drove into it. It cleared soon after I got home. I nipped across the road for an hour to have a cup of tea and a gossip with Jack and to deliver his and his families cards. I filled a hot water bottle for him just before leaving as this seems to help the pain from the shingles. I only used the water from the hot tap as I didn't want to burn him and he said it was fine.
Hazel, thanks for the explanation - I understand what you mean now about portable bird houses. Hope you have a good night.

Evening Everyone, been writing some Christmas cards this afternoon the time has flown by,
Dove The splint support sounds a good idea to help ease the discomfort in your wrist, your dinner sounded delicious as always 😋
Busy Glad the Carol service went well yesterday, sorry I got the day muddled. I hope all has gone well for your OH and his angiography scan today,
LB Hope you had a nice visit to your rellies today, how is the sale going for handy brother? I hope things are progressing well for him. Poor Jack he has been suffering for sometime with these shingles, the warm water bottle is a good idea,
Ante So pleased to hear your father is improving too. Sounds like you’ve had a lovely day to be outdoors and plant those Tulips, glad you’ve had a good day,
Hazel The portable bird table sounds ideal, I’m sure the little birds will be grateful to have a safe place to eat. Goodnight to you.
    Have a good evening everyone.
  • Chive it’s lovely to hear that mum has been out and about.  She must have really enjoyed that, bless her.  Best wishes to you and yours.  LB I hope you enjoyed your visit to rellies.  I have visited mine and had a few things to do.  Hazel goood to hear you had a worthwhile visit to the gc.  The birds will be pleased.  Ante good to hear your father is progressing.  Take care with the lights, safety first.

LB, I'm glad that you have some tea time with Jack. I hope that he soon will be better. Yes, those were the tulips that I found other day. Only ten bulbs, but lovely orange variety, and they should be quite tall.

Rosie, thank you for care, I'll be careful because I don't want fell from the tree or electrocute myself. Don't need those inconvenients for Christmas.😁 I'm glad that you had nice time with your rellies.

I'll retreat for tonight. It's some interesting program on tv. Good night and sweet dreams.

  • Good morning all.  Apparently temperatures are set to get cooler with frost due Tuesday morning.  LB good news that the photographer’s been to take pictures for handy brother’s home.  I hope he’ll soon have a buyer in the New Year.  I’ve had a few cups of tea this morning and Alfie is curled up on the sofa by a warm radiator.
