I’m much better this morning, so getting on with things, such as washing. No rain predicted today.

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️ and hello @Pat E glad you’re feeling more yourself 👍

When reading my post above about Pa fainting you’ll see that the Spelling Pixie has been at it again and altered it so it doesn’t make sense … the penultimate paragraph should read
He’d helped at many calvings…” but the pixie knew better 😖

    Good morning folks!

Cold, bright and sunny this morning due to the strong winds sweeping away the clouds.

Lie-in this morning.  Looks like I'm going to have a @punkdoc day - lots of rest and reading and that drifting off....delicious.

@Obelixx  I hope your knee feels better today.  I don't bother with a Christmas tree as we usually go away for Christmas, butI do put up some twinkling lights and the Nativity Set with santons etc.

@Pat E  Glad to read your MSG symptoms are better tonight.    Good you got that load of washing done and dried.

Spelling pixie is a good word @Dovefromabove  - it crops up here often!!

In spite of all the clearing up for the "storm troopers", I hope everyone has enjoyable Sunday.

Weirdly, I slept through till nearly 7am. Probably tired out from the previous nights storm keeping us awake. One night last week, we were both wide awake at 3 am, so we got up and had a mid -night breakfast!

Hello all, cold with snow showers here. I think you have an improvement in your weather today up there in the UK?
Good news from my Son, he had cardio appt last week and they are very pleased with him, he will have an echocardiogram later next year and all being well will be able to have his heart monitor removed, that will be two and a half years after catching Covid and ventilated and put on the ECMO machine. He still has to cope with his lung and arthritis problems.
Catch up with you all later.
