Morning Hazel and Chive. So sorry to hear that you had a dreadul night Hazel. Be kind to yourself this morning and relax at the hairdresser's. Chive, will you be going to see your Mum today?
Got through to the Vet's and I've an appointment for Lily at 16:15 this afternoon so I have just rung the Canasta oganiser to say that I won't be going again today. I'm glad in a way.

Good morning Busy, you weren't there when I posted. I bet you can't wait to see your OH again.

    Morning all,

Oh no @bluebellsinthewild, the bad habit must be catching :o

Bit damp and breezy here today - plenty of leaves on the ground for my mould bin.

Still waiting on what I need to start the last major task of the week. So infuriating waiting and then having to rush to get it done by a reasonable time on a Friday afternoon :( If I try and go for a quick run, you can guarantee that I'll get the e-mail the second I'm out of the door!

LB That is good news you have an appointment for Lily later today, hope all goes well. Sister is with mum today so I might take advantage of a free day though a trip to the SM is needed first,
Rubee You’ve done well with your progress, it will be very welcome for keeping snug underneath 🤗
Best make myself a list and get going.

@Songbird-1 it was interesting when I occasionally got to go to set and deal with the cast but the last few years I've become increasingly detached. Advances in technology mean it's a lot harder, I work longer, see nobody and rarely speak to anyone. Good eh?

Afternoon late back from SM but got all that was needed plus a few extras 😬
Biglad I hope your work is appreciated it certainly should be,
@Songbird-1 Hazel Yes she is thank you, mum had an X-ray yesterday and they are pleased with how well the bone is healing. Hopefully in another 4 weeks she will be able to fully weight bear with that leg again 🤞 Hope you are feeling improved on this morning, hope your haircut goes well this afternoon 💇🏻‍♀️

Hi folks,  been absent lately, just family things getting in the way as usual.  Have been for flu jab today, first one I've had so I'll have to see how it affects me.  Also actually been outside gardening, the first time in ages.  Planted up some pots of bulbs and violas and spent some time deciding where to plant a couple of roses.
Finally met Secondborn's new man.  He seems very nice, early days but they both seem happy. Hope everyone is OK.

  • LB I’m sorry to hear Lily is unwell.  I hope all goes well with the vet appointment.  Hazel I hope you’ve caught up on some sleep before your hair appmt.  Chive enjoy your day today doing your own thing.  It will be good when mum can fully weight bear.  I’m glad the X-rays were positive.   Lily it’s been a sunny day here, although quite a chilly night.
