Good morning Ruby. How is the weather over your way? Will you be getting out into your garden if it's anyway decent?

Good morning LB, Rubee and all to follow.

Sunny but cold and windy morning. It's perfect day to stay in, but I have some outside jobs to do. First I'll just rest a bit with tea and book.

    Have a lovely Sunday!

    Another seasonal photo.

LB and Chive I will be popping into the garden later . Have indoor duties this morning .Also I am cosy in my chair .Not in a rush to get up .
  • Morning everyone, the sun is shining this morning. I've had a bit of a lazy morning, slept till just before eight and then came downstairs for tea and toast. Watched the news and I don't know where the time went. Going to get out in the garden in a mo and take the leaves up. I know by tomorrow there will be loads more, but if I keep on top of it, it shouldn't be quite so bad 😉
What a gorgeous photo of your dog @Ante30 he's beautiful 🐾🐾
Have a lovely catch up with your family @Ladybird4 Hope you're feeling better this morning.
@Songbird-1 hope the vaccine goes well today.

    Morning all,

I'll have to be a hardy perennial to venture into the garden this morning @Ladybird4. It's supposed to get a bit better as the day progresses so I'll crack on with a few indoor jobs first.

Hello all  :) glad pets and parents seem to be on the mend ... both can be such a worry ... nearly as much as children ...

We have a patchy blue sky but it seems chilly ... OH is doing useful outside things like harvesting the chillies and emptying the cucumber pots etc ... I've been prepping supper ... gammon hock with leeks and carrots, ... when the gammon has been simmering long enough it'll be glazed and baked and I'll do some roasties to go withs it.  Cold weather food and there'll be lots left to eat over the next few days ... and soup of course.

Hope the rest of you are keeping warm  :)

  • Afternoon everyone,  sun has gone behind the clouds and its turned rather chilly. Raked up leaves  and half filled the garden bin ready for Tuesday's collection.  There'll probably be more tomorrow 😂
Had soup and french bread for lunch and just hung a few wet cloth things on the airer to dry in the conservatory.
Might sofa surf this afternoon with a crossword or sudoku
    Have a lovely afternoon everyone.

Good afternoon everyone. Had a nice meet up with the rellies and daft dog Mo who nearly knocked me flying. He was obviously happy to see me. My brother said he was looking out for another 'person' last week after handy brother arrived at their house and I didn't.
After I got myself something to eat, I went out into the garden and I've just finished for today. I planted new daffodils - Falconet and Minnow and found some of last years bulbs where I had stored them in the GH after they came out of their pot so they are now replanted. They had formed lots of lovely roots. I also planted some snowdrops.(woronowii) as these were the ones that leapt into my trolley last week. I usually buy snowdrops 'in the green' in Spring but these are a different type apparently. Time will tell. They may not flower next year.
What a palaver Hazel. I don't understand how they had you marked down as having been vaccinated. At least it got sorted finally and I do hope that you don't suffer any after effects.
Ante, I love the picture of your dog. I just wanted to cuddle him he looks so nice. I love black labradors.
SGL, I am curious to find out who will be leaving Strictly tonight. I have an idea but no spoilers.
I hope that Busy has had a nice reunion and catch up today with her friends and that T'Bird found a 'go faster' suit  for her OH!
