I woke up at 7am, but I take coffee back to bed and read my book. The cockerel was crowing but it doesn't matter at 7am. Next week it will be 6am. I just can't see the point of having light mornings and dark evenings. But in the UK it's dark afternoons in December and January.
That must be really annoying @Ante30, I hope your Dad's operation goes ahead tomorrow.
Good afternoon all. Ante I am so sorry that your Dad's operation has been delayed again. I can understand your annoyance. It would have been so much kinder for you and your Mum - and saved you the journey - if they had phoned through to let you know Take out your anger on the leaves in your yard.
Hazel, I do hope your OH's blood tests are fine. What will your poor blackbirds root around in now for worms? Only kidding. They love chucking bark around. I'm glad it is not just me that Albertine picks on Busy - its a right thug! Hope you find everything you want in the SM.
I popped over the road to Jack's (having phoned him first), waved to him through the window and left his shopping on the front door step. He smiled at me through the window but I know he is in a lot of pain. The nurse is coming to see him sometime today - he has no idea when but rang his Doctor this morning. I rang his daughter to see how she was and she is worse than yesterday. I've told her not to worry about her Dad - he's got his emergency button on and I'll keep an eye on him

Afties all. I am happy to say that I have just booked my booster vaccine for this Sunday at 08:15 at the same venue I had my first two so that suits me fine. The sooner the better.
Hope your OH's arm is not too sore after his blood tests Hazel. All that gardening will have loosened it all up but I'll bet you are pooped! Nice news about your friend taking in the two dogs from the poorly lady. That will help put her mind at rest that they have gone to a good home.

That is so cute Hazel. Can imagine 23 twerking. I have a great nephew Teddy (6 on the 29th) who LOVES dancing and he gives it his all. Such fun to watch him. All he has to do is hear the music and he's away.

Sorry to hear about medical issues and illnesses. Hope things improve for everyone. Had a quiet day reading after my trip to shops back to work tomorrow. Hope everyone gets a good nights sleep 💤
So sorry to hear your Dads operation was postponed again @Ante30 I've got everything crossed that it goes ahead tomorrow.🤞🤞🤞🤞
@Ladybird4 sorry to hear too that Jack's daughter is feeling worse today, do hope she gets well soon. @Songbird-1 Aww how cute that 23 was dancing. Bless him. Hope your OHs arm is ok after his blood tests.
I had the booster this morning and fingers crossed I’m not feeling too bad. Visited the rellies and then home and pushed the hot steamy thing over the clothes. LB and Hazel I’m glad your appmts are scheduled. I forgot to ask what it was we were chatting away. LB poor Jack and his daughter, although good the nurse could come. Glad to hear Lily enjoyed her breakfast and found a warm place by the radiator. Alfie’s keeping me up he wanted some late night/early morning attention. Ante I’m sorry your fathers op has been delayed. I hope they have the staff for tomorrow. I hope your father and mother and you manage to rest tonight. LB and Hazel it’s good to think of the little ones dancing, very sweet. Sleep well.

Hazel, I hope that all will be well with your OH blood test. I also use gravel because wind blow up all bark pieces.

Such a cute photo of Thomas @Debs.
We are off to Morrisons soon. I wonder how full the shelves will be after all I've read in the papers, English and French.
Why do I like roses? God knows, I was attacked and wounded yesterday by horrid, vicious, ungrateful Albertine.
