Good morning all. Hope the headache clears @Songbird-1. Maybe you are fretting about your son hope he feels better soon Up early as off to work in a bit just half a day then tonight I am babysitting so big son will have to cater for any trick or treaters. Bought more sweets yesterday. Hope I have enough.
Making plans for bonfire night no fireworks though as my neighbours spend a fortune so we will enjoy those instead. Got a ridiculously busy few weeks coming up. For me anyway I like a fairly quiet life.
Hope Jack doesn’t get too poorly LB. Good that he has people like you to help him.
@bluebellsinthewild not tried chocolate Horlicks I love the regular stuff, it was a favourite of my dads.
Hope you all have a good Saturday.

I had the slimmest idea of getting out today but that has had to be deleted from the list of 'to do' things. I hope that everyone has a happy day today and that we all remember to alter our clocks and timer switches tonight.

    Morning all,

You could have had an all-night party by the sound of it ;)

Grim here - one of those days where it never really gets light and Marti is firmly in residence. Nothing planned whatsoever so I should get on with all those tasks that I've been putting off whilst working for such silly hours. However, the reality will probably be watching cricket and football whilst dozing in the comfy armchair :D

    Good morning to all.
I finally have some free time just for me. It's beautiful day after so long time. Warm, sunny and calm, perfect for gardening.
Last two day I was preoccupied with finding and renting a bed like those in hospital. My father will come home today and he need this bed next 45 day. He is feeling fine but next 45 day he can't sit. It's strictly forbidden. He can lying and standing but no sitting.

First I'll see what is happened here in the last two day then I'll go out. It's pity to waste day like this in the house.

Good morning Ruby, SGL, Chive, Dove Biglad, Ergates. and Ante. It must be elevenses! I swear I have a black hole in my house! I have hunted high and low for my crochet hooks and they have disappeared. Not to worry, I know that they will turn up when I am least expecting them (and when I don't need them!)
Debs, you threw me when you mentioned trick or treaters yesterday - isn't that tomorrow night?
SGL - it is truly horrid here as well. Hope your OH's booster goes Ok today - Hazel and I tomorrow.
Chive, I have knitted this cowl pattern before but discovered some nice black alpaca wool in my stash and thought I would knit another. For the life of me I cannot remember how I did that provisional cast on. The videos are pretty good and I should be able to follow them. I was hoping to try the crochet hook method .
@Biglad you enjoy your armchair - bet you nod off!
@Ergates, hello and thank you so much for the brilliant cartoon! It brought a smile to my face.
@Ante30 well done for finding a hospital type bed for your Dad. Does it have things to help your Dad to get upright? He will just be happy to be back home. 45 days will soon pass and he will be ready to enjoy Christmas. Please send some of your nice weather over here
