Fingers crossed that she will be feeling better soon .
Good morning RosieBB, Biglad and SGL and all to follow later. I did smile when I saw your 'forgotten' post SGL. I have done that before. It was hammering down last night when I went to bed and is still hammering down now. Oh joy! 100% agree that the first cuppa in the morning is the best!

Good morning all. Got to decorate my porch this morning ready for Halloween 🎃 as I get lots of trick or treaters and I want it to look good. Luckily I was organised for once and packed all my decorations in one box. Not like me at all but should make things easier. Hope you all have a good day planned
Good Morning Bluebells, Biglad, SGL, Rubee, LB & Debs and all to follow, Bluebells Awake early for a cuppa I hope that soothed you back to sleep after, Biglad Pleased to hear that your workload should reduce next week, SGL It sounds like you are in the best place today with that weather, it has started to rain here, Rubee I’m glad you are not feeling too sore after your fall, it shakes you up when something like that happens, LB Sounds like an indoor play day for you too, how are Jack & his daughter? I hope his Covid result was negative, sorry if I missed that, Debs That sounds like a fun morning decorating your porch, are you carving a pumpkin? 🎃 Will be going to see mum today, hope you all have a good day.
Good morning Debs. When I was round at my Bestie's yesterday she was bemoaning the fact that her porch is not yet up to her usual amazing, full-on decoration standards but I can guarantee that by Sunday it will be! Got a few tasks to do for Jack and his daughter today - dropping stuff off on their doorsteps. Its actually stopped raining so that will make the job easier.

A big bag of gravel has been delivered for the drive. OH had already bought 3 bags and a local handy man spread it, but it wasn't quite enough. Guess who will be spreading the latest bag? But I've just realised we don't have a shovel, only a small border spade. We'll go and buy one when we take the honeysuckle and rose prunings to the recycling.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hello all Hope everyone is as well as can be expected We had an absolutely glorious pink sunrise earlier on, but it's grey and overcast now. However, 'they' say it's going to remain dry ... just as well as OH is doing carpentry on the terrace as part of the boarding and reshelving that's going on in the walk-in cupboard. I've just got my coffee to finish then I'm heading for the farm shop ...
Have a good day all ...

Got a couple more hours in bed and back at my 'desk' for 7.45am. You can tell I'm slacking as I've been starting at 7am for the last couple of months
Currently about 4hrs ahead of where I normally am on a Friday morning so let's see who throws a spanner in the works!!
Wild outside and I can see at least a couple more cosmos have radically altered their growing angles overnight
Nipping out for a closer investigation now.
Glad you aren't so sore today, Rubee.
