A very good morning Busy and Dove - you weren't there when I posted (note to self - refresh page!). Hope you have successful days.

Just had a quick 20 mins surveying and attempting to repair the latest damage in the front garden. Note to self - bigger, stronger supports needed for cosmos next year :DΒ

I have at least a few minutes in the front garden every morning. Either collecting the milk or putting bins out/in and it always seems to coincide with our new neighbour getting in his car to set off for work. I'm sure he thinks I'm some strange gardening junkie who is outside all day in any weather :o

Not for much longer @Songbird-1 :DΒ

I wouldn't mind but I've got a few bamboo canes in the shed :o I definitely underestimated how tall the cosmos would get. A lesson learnt!

It took the payroll company we use 13 mins to return the 'final piece of the jigsaw' to me last week so I know it isn't a big job. This week? Still not received after over 3 hours. I knew somebody would cock it up for me!!!

Oh my - the heavens have just opened! Bouncing down :oΒ

Hazel, I think the site might have a little gremlin in the works as the posts from Chive and Biglad weren't there before and I usually get email notifications of fresh posts on the threads I have added to but these have disappeared and I am not receiving any at all.
Biglad, I just got back from my deliveries to Jack and his daughter and the rain was bouncing down here too. Phew!

That's tested my 'pond' corner @Ladybird4. Unfortunately, it has formed but it's not as big/deep as it used to get.

@Biglad the bottom of my back garden is underwater again but the frogs are happy!
I've just heard that Jack's covid test was positive.

Lily I’m curled up on the sofa with a cup of tea just this moment. Β It was pouring it down through the night and, as Biglad says, it was quite wild. Β Hazel I hope your son will soon get over his cold and feeling more himself. Β LB I love the cat cartoon. Β Chive I went back to bed and slept for some time and feel much better for the rest. Β Busy take care lifting.
  • LB I do hope you are feeling much better now and getting a better sleep.
