Good morning @star gaze lily I will miss the allotment but I honestly feel that someone else will get more out of it, there are people on other plots with children who have no gardens and I will be taking on more Nanny duties soon as my middle daughter needs help and Thomas’s mom goes back to work in February plus helping fiancé out at weekend weddings a lot next year. It’s becoming a chore I don’t really need. My own garden is getting very neglected. I haven’t decided completely but I think that’s the way to go.
Sorry to hear you are not sleeping well. Maybe the colder darker nights will help.
@debs64 sounds like you have busy days ahead. Hope your daughter's medication is helping. You'll enjoy seeing your grandchildren, nothing like Nanna time. Allotments are very time consuming, is it very far from your home? Maybe you could have half a plot instead and just grow your veg. A hard decision, but you still have your beautiful garden and there's nothing better than family time and spending time with your fiancè. Thank you Debs, my sleep pattern isn't as bad as it was, but clocks changing always mess it up for a week or so. Have a good day
Good morning everyone .Seems as though some of our sleeping patterns are really out of kilter. I hope everyone settles down to sleeping through the night .It will be sad to give up your allotment Debs ,but it could be the way to go .You already have a lot of commitments.Lovely pic of Thomas . Good morning LB , Bluebell, Ante ,Lily and LB .Love the cartoons LB .
Good morning RosieBB, Debs (good to see you back)and SGL. Debs, what a shame that you may have to give up your allotment but I can quite understand your reasons. That is an adorable picture of Thomas in the pumpkin patch. SGL, I was awake at 05:00 this morning. Both Jack and his daughter had their boosters a week ago so it does feel unfortunate for them. Jack sounds fine (apart from suffering with the shingles) but is naturally worried about his daughter. She is his carer. He has asked if I will do a little bit of shopping for him today so that will be my first task of the day.

Good morning Dove. I am back from shopping for Jack in the village. It was nice and quiet. I did a wee bit of shopping for myself and I just had to rescue a mossy saxifrage that begged me to take it home. It's had a good drink (hah! I could have saved that job) Lights will have to be put on soon as its so dark.
Yes, Ante, I've everything crossed here that your Dad's operation goes ahead.
Ruby, are you crafting today if the weather is inclement? I haven't decided what to do as yet. Jack won't be awake for at least an hour yet but I'll bob across with his shopping later.
RosieBB, I hope Alfie enjoyed his breakfast. Lily had hers and then cuddled up next to the radiator in the front room as I had to put the heating on first thing - it was a bit chilly.

You're an early bird to the shops @Ladybird4 but all done and out of the way now. @Ante30 fingers crossed your Father has his operation today. Sending very best wishes to you and your family. Morning @Dovefromabove I've written a list this morning too. Sun is shining now and the trees are slowly changing colour. Have a good day everyone
Debs, beautiful photo of Thomas. Sorry that you will lost your allotment.
LB, I'm glad that Lily is much better. Nice catch at shopping, it's familiar to me also. I can't remember how much plants ended in my basket just like that.
Thank you all but you must repeat crossed fingers tomorrow. I'm quite angry because operation is again postponed till tomorrow. I took day off, my mum also, we came to the hospital and after an hour waiting they told us this. Reason is staff shortage. Well, I'm home now and I'll tidy up my yard. It's full of leaves after wind.

Kindest wishes to your parents ... the delays must be making them quite anxious.
