  • I slept for a few hours this morning and then visited rellies this afternoon.  LB enjoy your time with the family.  P.s. I thought the col was snoozing earlier🤭.  Lily I do love french bread, perfect with soup on a cool day.  Dads baked a cake and it’s come out lovely.  Hazel I remember those days of long walks with the family, we all slept well after all the fresh air.  Chive I dozed off on the sofa and woke up to a warm room as I’d remembered to put the heating on and Alfie was enjoying the warmth, all snuggly.  I’m waiting for my slow cooker cook book to arrive, an English one.  There are quite a few with American measures.  Apparently, the National Trust have the same one it’s called I love my slow cooker and there are good reviews.  I’ll get some fresh vegetables and incorporate those.  Enjoy your afternoon.  Dove enjoy your meal.
  • Sorry to hear you had a long wait and a mix up at the Drs surgery @Songbird-1 hope you feel ok this evening, with no side effects.
Glad you had a lovely day with your family @Ladybird4
@bluebellsinthewild sounds like a lovely relaxing Sunday. Think I might Google that slow cookbook.
We've had a lazy Sunday afternoon too, watched tv, did some Sudoku and cross words. OH has watched some footie too.
@Ladybird4 I have a feeling it could be Ugo and Sara in the dance off tonight, but anything can happen. 🤷🏻‍♀️

RosieBB - the Col. never snoozes! SGL, I agree about Ugo. We'll soon find out.

    Evening all,

Managed an hour or two outside pottering. All bins a bit fuller, garden looking tidier, wobbling plants given extra support and another of the raspberry plants put in the bed I cleared the other week. The compost I'm getting out of the dalek is looking a lot better now as well.

Then I ruined it by watching the football :(

    Hello all.

Glad you had a good meet up with your rellies @Ladybird4. Minnow is my favourite of the small daffodils.

What a muddle @Songbird-1, I hope you are still feeling OK.

Lovely photo of your dog @Ante30.

We've had a lovely day with our friends, they only left an hour ago. The lamb was very tasty and tender and Waitrose did a good job with the apple and blackberry crumble.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Hazel I hope things willl be more organised when you next go for your booster.  I’ve had a msg through to book an appmt for mine.  It’s sad to see another couple leave the strictly dance floor.   Goodnight everyone.

Sorry that the football (psst - what football?) put a dampener on your day Biglad. Never mind there's always another game.
Busy, glad that you had a nice time today. Sounds like both you and Dove had super meals today.
Glad you've heard about making an appointment for your booster RosieBB. I am signing out for tonight also. See you all tomorrow.

I fell asleep in my chair . Night night folks
  • Glad you haven't any side effects @Songbird-1 sleep well.
OH dear @Rubee do hope that snooze in the chair doesn't stop you sleeping tonight.

@Ladybird4 think the right one went tonight on Strictly. Was surprised the other couple were in the dance off though.

Good night everyone,  sleep well and sweet dreams.
  • Good morning all.  Quite a chilly night.  Just having a cup of tea and catching up with the news.  I hope you are well rested.
