Just home from garden group committee meeting which ends in a pot luck meal with everyone bringing something to share.  I experimented with a savoury cheesecake so made a sort of flapjack base with oats, walnuts, butter and a bit of honey blitzed and a topping of blue St Agur, Philly, crème fraiche and eggs topped with sliced pear and walnut halves.   It was yummy.

Tired now so off to bed.

Glad you're having a good holiday @D0rdogne_Damsel.  Hope you get your puppy walk @AuntyRach.  Sweet dreams everyone.

Just heard that a dear friend died today. I’d known her and Ron for 50 years. He died a couple of years ago. I shall miss them … I’m so glad they were part of my life

Sorry to hear that sad news about your friend @Dovefromabove. But that link - I know I could easily spend an hour or even more clicking on the links.  But I mustn't!

Your frittata looks very yummy Dove.  Hubby’s was too. It’s my new favourite dinner, I think.
I’m trying to have fish twice a week based on eye health advice, but it’s not my favourite meal. I’ve discovered a BirdsEye frozen packet which is easy and tasty, so we’ve stocked up on some of those.
    Sleep tight all.

Some native spring flowers.  Leucochrysum albicans (Hoary Sunray)

They’re everywhere at this time of year.  We see them as we are driving into town.  These are near our front gate.

    Hi all

    Sorry for your loss @Dovefromabove
Glad you are having fun @dordogne-damsel

We are off to see my little sister this weekend, the only good thing to come out of Mums death, is that it has brought us much closer.

Hope hubby is ok today @Hostafan1
