She's fine now @Dovefromabove . Not happy with the vet fiddling about but otherwise playful and lively, amazingly so given her age, and she'll get extra cat food treats to hide the meds.

Rain at last here which is much appreciated, although it's a very gloomy day with it which isn't. Galloped down to the paper shop early because the hedge trimmers were due at 10 ish but they just beat me to it. Pleased with the results. Front native hedge has had a severe haircut, which it sorely needed as we missed the tractor man last January. Side privet hedge has had a tidy up too, including the bits I couldn't reach. Ironic that after a fortnight of lovely dry sunny weather, they had to do it all in the rain.
Hopefully it may be possible to have a meet up @Busy-Lizzie and @Didyw. We'll be around late June so a long time to wait and much might depend on OH's hip problem getting sorted. I presume @Busy-Lizzie your OH has still no new date yet?
Hope Rasta recovers well @Obelixx. Shame about the bad night @Punkdoc, we can recommend after lunch naps as well. Lovely to have your son around @ Pat E, I'm hoping to see mine at the weekend. Really pleased my granddaughter has just passed her grammar school entry exams with flying colours - which is more than I did!
No date for OH yet @Lizzie27. I'm going to Norfolk on Friday. I've been clearing up stuff outside, like garden furniture into the car port barn, and P is here clearing out an ants nest under the tiles. There were dead ants dropping into the spare bedroom. P has put in the thingies to hold back the shutters where they did the pointing.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Giverny yesterday, lovely as it was could not help thinking it would have been so much better in spring when we were originally supposed to be there. just a few pics for now

Glad Rasta is OK.
I had a terrible night too, maybe it's because there will be a full moon in a couple of days.
I have sand to shift and weeding to do. It's sunny so the washing is on the line.
