    Good morning @punkdoc :)

Anyone need anything from the butchery and farm shop?   I'm making a list ...

  • Happy Birthday @Fairygirl , and morning all! Reason to be cheerful ( wrong thread i know ) , my father will finally ( fingers crossed) have his cataract operation in a few days. So some toing and froing and staying over from me , but hopefully he will feel more confident afterwards.

That's good news indeed @Desi_in_London ... everyone I know says their lives have been transformed by having  their cataracts removed   :)

Good morning Forkers.  Bright and sunny here but still only 10C tho it will get warmer.

I'm on kitchen duties at the mo.  We're going to see the new James Bond film this evening and it's only on in English at 6:15 so I need to get all dinner prepped for a quick cook when we get back.  Could just do a quick pasta but I already took the lamb out of the freezer yesterday for making kebabs for Fakeaway night and Possum is cooking lemony pasta with salmon tomorrow before we go dancing.

Frocks don't need high heels.  I haven't worn more than a 1" heel for almost a decade.  I've seen women wearing summer frocks with tennis shoes which s fine or flashy trainers which is not a good look.  Hate trainers, even discreet ones.  I've seen heavier frocks with ankle boots, knee boots and even Doc boots.   Wear what suits your feet.  I've also seen jeans with stilettos which is just mad.

Your visitors look like sentinels @Pat E.   Have fun with your bulbs @punkdoc.

Have a lovely day Forkers especially birthday girl @Fairygirl.

@Desi_in_London ". Both my parents had their cataracts removed,  changed their life and they had a good few enjoyable years.
    Happy Birthday to @Fairygirl. 💐🍷🎂

    I bet you do @punkdoc ;)

    Good morning all.

OH had a cataract removed, he was very pleased.

I must put together a flat pack plastic cupboard to keep gardening stuff in and plant my 6 Fuchsia Riccartonii and the Honeysuckle Belgica that I bought yesterday.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
