Dancing tonight, in trousers for the first time. Been wearing frocks so far but it's chilly now with these clear, moonlight evenings and nights. Only ever used to wear frocks for dance soirées but a cotton frock is so much more comfy here than shorts or trousers for summer heat when I also have to look presentable. Battered shorts and strappy tops are now only for gardening and HW.
Lots of laughter this evening as OH was trying to do samba voltas on the wrong foot and took ages to get it right. That was after jive so a knackering hour but fun.
Sounds like a busy day for you @Allotment Boy with maybe a bit too much packed in but interesting. Enjoy.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I find dresses very comfy, it's just that shoes that go with dresses aren't, except fairly flat summer sandals with soft soles. Now the weather is cooler I'm back in jeans and jumpers.
I went to the church chat, coffee and cake group this afternoon and met some nice people from this area. Meeting people has been difficult because of Covid but things are getting easier now.
Sowed a row of broad beans and planted 5 Camassia bulbs.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
What a busy day @D0rdogne_Damsel and that sounds fun @Obelixx - lucky you to have an OH who will go dancing with you. Sounds like you are enjoying your trip @Allotment Boy. I'm with you on the shoes front @Busy-Lizzie - it's all very well having a nice dress to wear but if you don't have the shoes to go with it (or shoes that are comfortable to wear) it stays at the back of the wardrobe. Well in my case. We've got a 'do' to go to soon and my friend, who is also going - but who is a good 25 years younger than me - suggeted we dress up and wear heels. Well, I do have a pair of Dolce & Gabanna shoes bought in a sale ages ago that are not too high and not too thin a heel. I'll have to have a practise of wearing those.
Yes, not only is it Friday but is that the time already? Not a baby's bottom washed......! @Dovefromabove
@Allotment Boy Seeing France via the sea must be a lovely cruisey way to travel. Have you sat at the Captain's Table yet? There are some lovely "3-day" cruises going from Brittany down to Santander in Spain etc. Expecting photos, you know!
@D0rdordogne_Damsel A welcome break. A lovely area, mountainous, misty and cold. Take a cardy!
No sun this morning and temperature at 13°C which means we could have some maritime weather and a hint of rain - I must check the weather forecast.
Expression for today: Souvent, Sainte-Thérèse, nous apporte un petit été. (Well, maybe later on this arvo!!)

Hugs to you both.
