Probably should be on curmudgeons, hubby NOT a bit impressed by the green house it's a Halls made in the UK sides etc don't "meet" channels for glass came rolled up,so out of shape, difficult to fit, nothing "goes together" properly. Am happy to put pictures.

@Nanny Beach  put it in a bucket of hot water ... it'll soften and be easy to straighten out.  :)

  • Hi all,

Hope all are well. I'm tired out, spent the day 'networking', exhausting, but also rewarding, received lots of compliments about CdeG. Had to wear high heels and a dress, not my usual get up, not comfortable at all. Tights that cost 6.50€ lasted about 30 minutes before shredding at toes, very uncomfortable for the rest of the day.
Cooked a French gammon for dinner, nice enough, but not what I'd expect from an English gammon joint. Did enjoy a load of fresh veggies though, sadly not from my own garden.
8 days until I go away on holidays to Pau. So looking forward to it, nice town, a lot of history and a nice comfortable villa to relax in. Not going to worry about CdeG at all, have a very capable waitress taking over. Bliss. Hopefully a lot of walking all day will ensure I sleep well at night.
Just need to do a lot of planning, organising and baking before I go!

I bet you looked great @D0rdogne_Damsel … I wear trousers 99.99999% of the time and feel odd in a frock, but I’m told I look quite good when I’m scrubbed up, so I bet you do too 😉 . Have a lovely break in Pau … not somewhere I know anything about but it looks fascinating. Photos please 😊

Have a good day tomorrow @Allotment Boy  … hope the weather is kind to you. 🤞

    Night night all … I’m nearly asleep 🥱 🛌
