@Hostafan1, that's a bummer, I thought that might be the case. The excess on most policies now exclude minor claims it seems to me. Could you rescue any of the food and have a really good lunch!!!

I've no idea when it defrosted . so not worth the risk, even for me.

    Hi all

In bed for 2 days now and still feeling terrible, think it might be viral rather than anything else.

Oh dear ... poor you ... could it be the 'flu ... there are some bad cases about ...  or have you done a lateral flow test?

  • @Busy-Lizzie, you must be wondering why it is when life is already difficult that you get another thing thrown at you. I know I went through a phase of that 15 or more years ago.  A newspaper published a list of the top 10 most stressful things that can happen & I had experienced 8 of them, in a 2 year period.  It will get better I'm sure.

Warm anti-viral hugs to you @punkdoc.   Hope you have a lot to read and can snooze your way thru the rest of the time.

    PITA about the freezer @Hostafan1.

Just been down to see Scruffy who tried to scarper out of the polytunnel and then tried to hide from Possum who has to catch and hold her while I squirt meds down her throat.  Her comb and wattle are looking a lot better and she is bright eyed and almost bushy tailed again.   Everyone else in fine form too but still only one egg.  Too young to be menopausal so the vet gave me something to put in their water along with the cider vinegar.

Loaf of spelt bread baking now and then I can go and do patch finances.

Possum is off to Edinburgh via London on Wednesday.  She's struggling with the UK website.............  Needs to organise a Covid test on day 2.

  • If it's any comfort tell Possum it's not her it's a terrible site. We struggled with it at the end of our holiday.  The reps had to do loads of the forms for other passengers who couldn't  it do themselves for various reasons.

We know @Allotment Boy.  Visitors a couple of weeks ago had a terrible time with it - hours and hours and multiple attempts.
