    Sounds a useful afternoon @Lizzie27.

I did some gravel spreading between showers. We had rain showers forecast on the BBC weather @Dovefromabove. Red sky in the morning, shepherds' warning.

Just been to the community pub, they have good beers. Fish and chips for dinner, the van was here this afternoon.

    Morning Forkers.

Our weather has being mixed. We had extremely high winds all day yesterday. I filled two thermos flasks in case we lost power (can’t do without cups of tea). Anyway, we didn’t lose power like those in Victoria and today has emerged cool, sunny and no wind. 🙄.  It’s beyond me!  Can’t plan anything with this temperamental contrary spring weather.  It’s hard to think it’s already nearly November.

Nothing special planned for today. Hubby has his weekly tip run but that’s about it. 😁

Got woken at around 3am by the sound of the rain pounding on the roof. It is absolutely torrential, and has been pelting down for at least an hour. Too dark outside to see anything, but I’d imagine the road is looking like a river at the moment. I hope all our local wildlife are tucked up somewhere snug and dry.
Very glad I’m here in the warm, with no need to go out in the morning. Do feel for those essential workers who are having to travel during the night. It can’t be safe out there.

Morning all, forecast is rain here for the next few days, so washing on,and unfortunately so will the tumble dryer, first time this year.all 3 beds stripped. Got some seeds to sow later, just about get into the bottom green house. Dreadful these floods.we bought a property up a slight hill for that very reason. Hope you all stay safe

My steaks last night were a triumph.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
You're getting the hang of this cooking lark aren’t you @Hostafan1 🧑‍🍳 give your lovely hub a hug from us (you don’t have to tell him who it’s from).
OH is at work today … I’ll do a tad of hwk … looks too wet for anything outside … I might see if there’s room amongst the carpentry tools to do some work in the studio …
