Morning NannyB.  How’s your weather today?  We’ve had a very comfortable sunny day.  Nice for a change.

Morning Pat, it's pitch dark, can't see or hear any rain. Yesterday was nice,18c,it was 12c overnight outside,16c in,which is way too hot for me to sleep, still on top of the summer duvet!! Got lots of gardening to catch up on today. Maybe try and hunt for fuel. Local places out of diesel.

    Good morning.

Still, light but the sun is just coming up yet. 10°C yet not so cold.    Hopefully a nice day.  More autumn gardening today, maybe get a bit of a bonfire going!!

Have a pleasant day wherever you are and whatever you are doing!

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Yes @Nanny Beach  you've beaten me this morning … I’ve been showering and getting ready to go out …  we have an early start today as my flu jab is booked for 9:15 … then we’re heading into the city to deliver a load of warm woolly hats and balaclavas to the street sleeping project.

@tui34 my ‘O’ level French is struggling at this time in the morning … you might need to supply a translation 😳

    Morning all.

@Dovefromabove, it's something about a cart in earth to level molehills. I have some new ones, must be the damp soil.

This afternoon I'm going to a craft group (English) in a nearby village, saw the ad and it said you don't have to make anything, come for coffee and chat. My fingers are swollen with arthritis, sewing and writing are difficult but I can do coarser things like digging and bulb planting.

Ah thanks @Busy-Lizzie .... that makes sense ... molehills didn't feature much in our French Conversation ... it mainly revolved around the lives of French pop stars in the 60s and their song lyrics  B)

  • It went ok @didyw and I escaped being murdered with my own scissors! She's got an appointment for this afternoon to get it properly sorted thankfully.
I have that raincoat in navy and my mum has the yellow (we live 100 miles apart so don't walk around matching all the time!). It's fab.

@Dovefromabove yes sale is a great idea- perhaps someone can start a Seasalt thread when a sale begins?!

@Busy-Lizzie I'm not sure I'm 'of a certain age' yet, but I'd certainly be delighted to be 27 again and will join in very happily 😂
  • Grey but dry here so I'm going to make a start on moving plants and then pop over to a friends with some she's taking off my hands.
