Someone at the craft group this afternoon had been offered a jab in each arm here is France, she said she would prefer them one at a time, which was agreed.
Planted more daffodils today, 80 left of the 350.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
A friend in my French Club had Covid and flu jabs this morning. One in one arm, one in the other.
Linking back to clothing choices, my wife buys a lot from Wrap and Poetry, two online companies. I don’t think she knows about Seasalt; I might bring it to her attention. I believe there used to be a store in Stamford but now closed.
I have @Dovefromabove but it is tea for me in the morning. I'm on my second lap!! I'll make you a Senseo - nice and frothy on the top!
Cold this morning at 8°C but again no wind. It should be sunny 23°C pm and the wind will come up after lunch. I got up at 3am for a pee and looked out the window. The sky was bright with stars!! Wonderful. The street lights go off between 1 and 5 am, so it was nice to see the stars.
Vegetable garden cleared and dug over. Tomato stakes put away and all plastic labels washed and ready for next year. I was in bed at 9pm and managed to read a couple of lines before dropping off. Unfortunately, I was awake early. I have a big veggie garden and it took over 4 hours!!
We’ve got the veg patch to clear and broad beans to sow, as well as bulbs to plant …. but I also have a trip to the farm shop, a sainsbug’s delivery, more onions are salted and ready for pickling and we both need to cut each other’s hair!
Looks like a busy day ahead …
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I wouldn't worry too much about booster and flu jabs at the same time. I suspect the caution is more about the covid jabs being new and wanting to be able to clearly record adverse reactions, rather than whether a body can cope with the two. Infant jabs are often for many different illnesses in one sitting.
@Hostafan1 you have two washing machines?! That would help me sort through backlogs! I'm sure you have them for being more organised rather than making up for being less though. Hope the visit goes OK.
I spent the whole (school) day gardening yesterday, digging out or dividing plants I'm offloading to friends. And a couple of hours midmorning with one of the friends weeding and rejigging one of her beds to plant what I'd brought over. I normally love the solitude in my garden but it was rather nice to garden together.
Evening was spent visiting the local secondary with my eldest. She's a year away from having to make choices but we wanted to have a look. She loved it and wants to go straight away. Can't quite believe we're talking about secondary already 😭
Morning all, damp here, cloudy but mild. Arm is quite tender this am, but no other reactions. Not sure what I will do today, all your posts about jobs in the garden are reminding me how much I have to get on with.

As for me, I like Gurteen, Darcy and Uskees.

Have an enjoyable day.
